>Ramblings of a Beach Bum

After awaking this morning I found that a Mac truck (ie big rig, semi-truck) had run me over numerous times. Okay, this is a bit of an exaggeration; however I went to bed early last night, slept in this morning and seriously cannot get going today.  Unfortunately, I have a long list of things to do today including making up the guest room, laundry, mopping, trimming and bathing the poodles, baking cookies and posting a new and fun blog post for you to enjoy! Thank goodness for my wonderful David who takes care of shopping and vacuuming duties.

It was very stormy here yesterday so I spent the day decorating glass bottles that we had found on the beach…jute, seashells, acrylic paint and glue gun dressed them up nicely…of course, I still have that mess to clean up too since I went to bed early. I did have a fun time getting “crafty” so it’s all worthwhile.  Don’t worry, I took lots of pictures and hope to share the projects with you soon.

My daughter and son-in-law will be here in 24 hours and I have decided to just do what I can and what doesn’t get done…well, just doesn’t get done! LOL!

I’m off to pour myself yet another cup of coffee and dig into my list.  Here are some of my beachy pictures for you to enjoy.  Have a great day and remember…Life’s A Beach – Enjoy!
