>Beachy Chic Chalkboard

>There are so many talented bloggers in the world and I just love discovering new beachy blogs that I can share with you! Beachy Chic is one of those fabulous beachy blogs and I just have to share this Chalkboard which was painted and hung in Beachy Chic’s kitchen.

“It was black when I bought it.. but I had hopes to make it into (a painted in cool white with black showing under my 100 grit distressed) kitchen wall accent. So I went to town on it last weekend.. in between writing a research paper, refereeing two preschoolers and writing up the 1x/wk big shop grocery list for my local grocery Target. I used Benjamin Moore Simply White in semi-gloss.. no primer.. and no sanding prep, as I wanted that black to show through when I distressed the edges.”

Beachy Chic’s finished Chalkboard is just fabulous, in my humble opinion. Of course, the addition of French Lavender and seashells really tops it off splendidly!  Visit Beachy Chic for more photos and all the details  >>  Beachy Chic
