>Project: Make a Vintage Towel Rack

>Hello all my coastal lovin’ friends! I’ve just returned from a 4 day weekend spent in the gorgeous city of Seattle. I’ll be sharing some of my adventures with you shortly (after I get caught up on emails, filling orders & such!).

One of my all time favorite magazines is ‘This Old House‘ and if you haven’t read it then you are really missing out. I don’t even live in an “old house” yet the ideas, tips & tricks are relevant for anyone with a house, townhouse or apartment. The projects are written for real people to complete and their step-by-step instructions can’t be beat.

I found this wonderful ‘How to Make a Towel Rack‘ project on their site and thought you would love it, just as I do! Its vintage look would fit perfectly into a beach home decor. My opinion is that it could be made for much cheaper than described, as they spent quite a lot on the brackets from Anthropology. I’m going to keep this handy for when I get working on the Master bath of mine…whenever that may be! LOL!

Cross-handle faucet taps can double as hooks. All you’ve got to do is mount them on a board! View the full project here: HOW TO MAKE A TOWEL RACK
