Several years ago, Actress Meg Ryan, was looking for a peaceful place to spend quality time with her children. Since Ryan is a Connecticut native she is “drawn to seaside communities along the northern Atlantic.” “The light in that part
of the country is the most beautiful light ever,” the actress explained.
Meg’s delightful beach home in Martha’s Vineyard was decorated with the help of Marsha Russell of Satinwood and was featured in Elle Decor last summer. Besides sharing her lovely home with readers, she also discussed her approach to design, which just proves she is not only a charming actress but also a talented designer. We love how the home combines charming vintage elements (lighting, tables, linens) as well as very modern and sleek accessories. Photographer, William Waldron, did well in providing a wonderful tour of this unique beach home.
