>Old Shutters Become Beachy Shelf!

>We are firm believers in reusing what we can to create new items around our home. We were excited to see how Going A Little Coastal got creative and transformed a set of moon & star shutters into a delightful shelving unit; which was then used to decorate her front porch this past summer . . .

A moon & star shutter was cut in two then made into this shelf!

Seashells added to the birdhouses add a bit of “beach” embellishment . . . Aren’t they adorable?

and then the shelf transformed into an Autumn display by adding sunflowers & pumpkins!

Have a beautiful Autumn weekend and don’t forget that our contest ends on Sunday (Halloween…Boo!!)

    >So happy to see Anita’s project featured here. I love that shelf that she has repurposed from shutters. And her accessories are just perfect. She is always so clever and creative with all of her projects. I’m constantly asking her for decorating advice. I just wish we lived in the same state.:)♥maureen
