>A Seashell Pink Retreat

"A Manhattan family make this sophisticated seaside sanctuary their own with a little help from a noted designer," states Better Homes & Gardens.

Suzie and Ainar Aijala wanted a calm retreat to escape to on weekends as well as during the summer. They found such a place along the bay in Mantoloking, NJ.

Suzie and designer friend, Jennifer Watty, created a sophisticated yet comfy decor by incorporating a neutral palette with seashell pink accents.  "We have an open-door policy at our house. The house is always full," Suzie says.
