>Fit for a Queen!

>A pretty ugly thrift store chair is transformed into a slipcovered seat fit for a queen! I’m always in awe of talented seamstresses that complete projects like this…if it’s not a straight line then I can’t sew it – a pattern? Forget it! Lucky for us, La Maison Reid walks us step by step through the process of this ugly to chic project.

A thrift store find…

The finished project just begs to sit and relax in…I can just imagine enjoying some tea while watching the waves lap against the sandy shore…

Burlap buttons & piping add a special finishing touch

The finished chair with slipcover…tea anyone?

Like the burlap pillow? I sure do! Burlap is showing up all over home decorating items and lucky for us there is even a tutorial for making this adorable Paris pillow.

I have a slipper chair that really needs a cover so MAYBE I'll give it a try…looks scary! LOL!
